Dr Andrew Odjo

Dr. Andrew Odjo is the co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Clean Planet Group, responsible for the research and development of novel cutting-edge processes and technologies that convert low value, non-conventional feedstocks and plastic waste into ultra-high value low-carbon alternative circular fuels, petrochemical feedstock and clean energy, advancing the cause of global sustainability and circular economy. He is also responsible for the technology development and implementation, design and engineering of CPG’s EcoPlants. With over 25 years professional experience in the oil and gas, refining, chemical, petrochemical and recycling sectors at the engineering, senior management and C-levels, Dr. Odjo holds a MSc in Technology of Organic and Petrochemical Synthesis, and PhD in refinery FCC processes for non-conventional feedstock. Andrew has over 400 process engineering projects participated, co-cheered and or completed globally. He is author of numerous publications on the synthesis, design, simulation and optimization of chemical/petrochemical, refinery processes in peer-reviewed international journals, and holds patents in emerging green technologies.

Dr Katerina Garifalou

Dr. Garyfalou has more than 16 years of diverse experience in the energy industry, covering technical, operational, commercial and leadership roles. The majority of her career unfolded within the oil and gas sector, where she took on various roles, allowing her to build a unique and extensive expertise. She achieved significant success in positions such as Exploration Manager, Strategy and Portfolio Planning Manager for Europe & Africa, New Country Entry Manager and Business Development Advisor. As a strong advocate for sustainability and innovation, Katerina made a transition to Clean Planet Energy three years ago, where she currently serves as Vice President of New Ventures. In this role, she leads transformative projects in the pursuit of sustainable energy solutions. Katerina holds a Ph.D. in Geoscience and an MBA from London Business School. She is dedicated to fostering a culture of collaboration and sustainability, empowering others to reach their full potential.
