Withadesignedspeedof350kilometersperhour,thenewtrainmeasuresmorethan400metersinlengthandhas16carriages,twiceasmanyascurrentones,according tothebureau.Itcancarrynearly1,200passengers.

ThelongertrainsbegantestinginBeijinginJune.
